Summary: The IT Asset Management Risk and Control Analyst is responsible for overseeing the management and control of IT assets within a financial services organization. This role involves assessing and mitigating risks associated with IT asset management processes, implementing controls, and ensuring compliance with industry standards. The analyst will also manage asset inventories and collaborate with internal and external auditors to maintain compliance and optimize asset utilization. Strong analytical skills and experience in risk and controls are essential for success in this position.
Key Responsibilities:
- Overseeing ITAM standards and control requirements across the firm.
- Identifying gaps and inconsistencies in ITAM control requirements.
- Coordinating regulatory requests and external audit engagements related to ITAM.
- Tracking governance and ensuring compliance with control requirements.
- Preparing meeting information packs and reports for ITAM Risk Committees.
- Conducting risk assessments to evaluate potential risks in IT asset management.
- Collaborating on the development and implementation of control procedures.
- Ensuring compliance with industry standards and best practices.
- Managing the accuracy of the IT asset inventory and lifecycle tracking.
- Conducting regular audits and collaborating with audit teams.
- Creating and maintaining documentation of asset management processes.
- Identifying opportunities for process optimization and improvements.
Key Skills:
- 10+ years of experience in risk and controls.
- Auditing experience, preferably within the Big 4.
- Experience with JIRA and AGILE methodologies.
- Undergraduate degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
- Knowledge of international regulatory frameworks (ISO, NIST, COBIT).
- Strong understanding of IT asset management best practices.
- Excellent analytical skills and data interpretation abilities.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- Proficiency in MS-Office applications.
- Experience with ServiceNow and knowledge of cybersecurity principles.
- CITAM certification preferred; other relevant certifications are a plus.
