Summary: The Research & Health Data Lead will spearhead the development and execution of Macmillan's research and health data strategy, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives. This role involves collaboration with key teams and external partners to enhance insights into the cancer population and healthcare system performance. The successful candidate will leverage their expertise in the cancer data and research community to drive impactful initiatives. This is a fixed-term contract position based in London with flexible working arrangements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the development and delivery of Macmillan’s research and health data strategy.
- Ensure effective partnerships across Macmillan and with key teams in the Partnerships Directorate.
- Provide oversight of the cancer research and data landscape.
- Identify opportunities for Macmillan in collaboration with Partnerships teams.
- Develop foundational insights on the cancer population and healthcare system performance.
- Collaborate with external partners and utilize external health data sets.
Key Skills:
- Experience in the cancer data and research community or strong understanding of the healthcare research landscape.
- Proven ability to deliver complex programs requiring negotiation and collaboration with senior stakeholders.
- Inclusive and adaptive leadership experience in a complex organization.
- Evidence of contributing to organizational strategy and plans.
