Summary: As a Report Engineer, you will design, develop, and optimize reports to facilitate data-driven decision-making within a large organization. The role involves collaboration with analysts, developers, and business stakeholders to ensure the accuracy and efficiency of reporting solutions. You will utilize tools such as Power BI, SSRS, and SQL to create and maintain reports and dashboards. This position offers a hybrid working arrangement and is outside IR35.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain reports and dashboards using Power BI and SSRS.
• Write and optimise complex SQL queries to extract, transform, and analyse data.
• Utilise SSIS to develop and maintain ETL pipelines for data integration and transformation.
• Ensure the accuracy, efficiency, and scalability of reporting solutions.
• Collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to define report requirements.
• Automate reporting processes and implement data visualisation best practices.

Key Skills:

• Strong proficiency in SQL, SSIS, SSRS, ETL, and Power BI.
• Experience with database management systems such as SQL Server, MySQL, or PostgreSQL.
• Knowledge of data warehousing, ETL processes, and business intelligence concepts.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
