Key Responsibilities:
- Leading Workday US Payroll configuration, optimisation, and troubleshooting.
- Acting as the client-side subject matter expert for all US Payroll activities.
- Partnering with HR, Finance, and Operations teams to gather requirements and translate them into scalable Workday solutions.
- Ensuring payroll accuracy, compliance, and adherence to federal, state, and local regulations.
- Supporting payroll testing cycles, audits, enhancements, and month-end or year-end activities.
- Providing documentation, best-practice guidance, and operational support as needed.
Key Skills:
- Strong experience as a Workday US Payroll Lead, ideally within restaurant, hospitality, or high-volume multi-state payroll environments.
- Demonstrated success operating in a client-side staff-augmentation model.
- Deep knowledge of Workday US Payroll configuration, tax setup, deductions, EIBs, and payroll integrations.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate across distributed teams.
- Able to start immediately and commit to 30 hours per week for a 9-month assignment.
