Summary: The role of Workday HCM Consultant focuses on Recruiting and Core HCM for a global project team within a wholesale distributor client. This position involves leading workstream meetings, providing expertise on Workday Recruiting, and supporting global teams during implementation. The consultant will also ensure project timelines are met and offer best practices for efficient talent acquisition operations. This is a fully remote, four-month contract position outside IR35.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead workstream meetings, facilitating discussions on Workday functionality and Sysco requirements
• Serve as an internal expert on Workday Recruiting, both its current capabilities and future roadmap
• Provide coaching and support to global Recruiting teams during testing, cutover, and implementation
• Use workbook documentation to confirm design specifications in the course of guiding Sysco HR through testing and supporting the Training team in developing training materials
• Ensure adherence to project timelines and deliverables are communicated to members of the Recruiting workstream and achieved
• Offer best practices, insights, and recommendations on how Workday Recruiting should be used to enable efficient TA operations

Key Skills:

• Extensive experience with Workday, preferably as both a partner and a client
• Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving abilities
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Self-starter who is able to manage multiple competing priorities
• Excel Intermediate or better skills
• Smartsheet experience
• JIRA experience (as an end user)
• Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot issues with Workday Recruiting configuration, including business processes, security, and global settings
