Workday Functional Analyst - UK Payroll

Summary: A leading blue chip company is looking for a Workday Functional Analyst to manage and enhance the efficiency of the Workday Payroll Module for the UK on a fully remote, 12-month contract. The role involves analyzing, configuring, and maintaining the payroll system to ensure compliance with local regulations and company policies. The analyst will also troubleshoot issues, document configurations, and identify process improvements within the payroll module.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain and customize the Payroll Module to meet specific payroll requirements and ensure compliance.
• Analyze payroll system configuration based on team queries, identify discrepancies, and resolve issues.
• Introduce system changes by testing and validating new payroll features with Workday releases.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to the Workday Payroll Module in collaboration with the UK payroll team.
• Maintain detailed documentation of payroll module configurations for future reference.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements, enhancements, and automation within the payroll module.

Key Skills:

• Proven experience in payroll administration and configuration of payroll modules within HRIS systems.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Attention to detail and a commitment to data accuracy.
• Experience with Workday Payroll Module is strongly preferred.
• Strong knowledge of UK payroll laws, regulations, and compliance requirements.
