Summary: The role of EC&I Engineer at a Defence/Nuclear company involves the production of EC&I design documents for safety-critical material handling equipment. Key Responsibilities:
- Production of EC&I concept, outline and detail design, verification and validation, and test and commissioning documents.
- Review and revise electrical aspects of previous projects to ensure compliance with legislation, industry standards, codes, and regulations.
- Supervise, check, and approve detailed EC&I specifications and scopes of work.
- Produce EC&I design drawings, schedules, and calculations, including cable routing drawings, schematic diagrams, and commissioning plans.
