Summary: We are looking for a Workday Advanced Compensation Consultant with expertise in the Advanced Compensation module of Workday HCM. The role involves leading the design, configuration, and deployment of compensation processes while collaborating with various stakeholders. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in implementing and optimizing compensation strategies within the Workday ecosystem. This position is remote and focuses on long-term engagement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and participate in the design, configuration, testing, and deployment of Workday Advanced Compensation modules.
- Collaborate with HR, Compensation, and IT stakeholders to gather and analyze business requirements.
- Configure business processes related to merit, bonus, and stock planning in Workday.
- Provide subject matter expertise on compensation cycles, guidelines, eligibility rules, and plan configurations.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues within the Advanced Compensation module.
- Create custom reports, dashboards, and calculated fields to support compensation processes.
- Support annual compensation planning events including testing, training, and execution.
- Participate in Workday releases and regression testing to ensure continued system functionality.
- Deliver end-user training and documentation as needed.
- Serve as a trusted advisor on Workday best practices and compensation process improvements.
Key Skills:
- Bachelor's degree in HR, Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 5-8 years of hands-on experience with Workday Advanced Compensation.
- Proven experience in at least one full-cycle Workday Advanced Compensation implementation.
- Strong understanding of core HCM and Compensation functionality within Workday.
- Ability to configure compensation eligibility rules, guidelines, and bonus plans.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Workday certification in Advanced Compensation (preferred).
- Experience with Workday HCM, Core Compensation, or Talent Management (preferred).
- Familiarity with EIBs, calculated fields, and condition rules (preferred).
- Experience working in a consulting or fast-paced implementation environment (preferred).
