Summary: We are seeking a seasoned WordPress Developer with experience in the Fitness and Wellbeing industry to re-platform and rebuild a client's website from Umbraco to WordPress. The ideal candidate will have extensive custom WordPress development experience, including plugin development and maintenance, as well as a solid understanding of SEO best practices. Strong API knowledge and the ability to integrate third-party systems within the WordPress framework are also essential for this role.
Key Responsibilities:
- Re-platform and rebuild the existing website from Umbraco to WordPress.
- Develop and maintain custom WordPress plugins.
- Implement SEO best practices to optimize digital presence.
- Integrate third-party systems and services efficiently within the WordPress framework.
- Utilize event tracking tools such as GA4 and GTM for analytics.

A strong grasp of APIs is also required, as is the ability to integrate third-party systems and services efficiently within the WordPress framework.

Location: Remote (opportunity to travel onsite if preference was to work from an office)
Start Date: ASAP (3 weeks max)
Contract: 3 months
Day rate : £400-425 DOE
IR35: Pending determination, expected Outside
Essential Skills:
