Key Responsibilities:

• Gather business requirements related to tax calculation, determination, and reporting.
• Configure Vertex O Series and integrate it with ERP systems (e.g., Oracle EBS/Fusion, SAP).
• Analyze tax rules, rates, and jurisdictions to ensure correct setup.
• Lead Vertex solution design workshops with business and technical teams.
• Support tax automation, exemption certificate management, and tax data reconciliation.
• Manage end-to-end testing including unit, integration, and UAT.
• Provide production support, troubleshoot tax calculation errors, and resolve integration issues.
• Collaborate with tax, finance, and IT stakeholders to ensure tax compliance.
• Prepare functional documentation: business process designs, functional specs, configuration guides, and user manuals.
• Stay updated on tax legislation changes and Vertex software upgrades; recommend updates as needed.
