Summary: The Technical Workday Consultant role involves configuring Workday HCM modules, interpreting complex workbooks, and ensuring accurate data translation into the production environment. The consultant will collaborate with functional teams to meet business requirements and maintain comprehensive documentation for configurations and processes. This position requires extensive experience in Workday and a strong understanding of HR processes. The role is fully remote, allowing for flexibility in work arrangements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Configure within Workday HCM modules including Core HR, Time Tracking/Keeping, and third-party Payroll.
- Develop, test, and implement changes to Workday configurations in alignment with business requirements and industry best practices.
- Interpret complex workbooks and ensure the accurate translation of data and requirements into the production environment for each new site.
- Configure and validate workbooks for new sites within the Workday system, ensuring they align with business needs and technical requirements.
- Collaborate with functional teams to understand specific requirements for new sites and build the corresponding configurations.
- Maintain clear and comprehensive documentation for configurations, integrations, reports, and processes.
- Provide detailed specifications for changes.
Key Skills:
- 15+ years of experience in Workday configuration and implementation.
- Strong knowledge of Workday HCM modules, particularly Core HR, Time Tracking, and Payroll.
- Ability to interpret complex workbooks and translate data into production environments.
- Experience in collaborating with functional teams to gather requirements.
- Excellent documentation skills for configurations and processes.
