Summary: The role of Senior Technical Consultant involves working within the IRIS Engineering/Customer implementation function, focusing on HR and payroll data management. Key Responsibilities:
- Implement best practice as part of the data update process to ensure live database integrity
- Liaise with IRIS projects team to ensure data tasks are written and executed on time and to the customers’ requirements
- Ensuring GDPR regulations and data security is maintained at all times
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities to support data migration efforts
- Good planning, organisation and time management skills
- Collaborate and communicate effectively with team members, department colleagues and the wider organisation
- Strong customer focus
- Team-oriented; willing to align work with team’s priorities and goals
Key Skills:
- 5+ years industry experience in data manipulation using SQL queries
- T-SQL, Microsoft SQL Server expertise
- Ability to implement best practice guardrails and governance
- Understanding of GDPR for managing PII data (advantageous)
- Previous HR/Payroll database experience (advantageous)
- Report generating software expertise (advantageous)
