Summary: The role of AWS Technical Architect involves designing, building, deploying, and maintaining cloud-based solutions within the Azure Cloud environment. The architect will focus on migrating existing workloads to the cloud, ensuring security, and improving operational efficiency through digital transformation. Responsibilities include architecting scalable cloud environments, implementing CI/CD pipelines, and producing technical documentation. Key Responsibilities:
- Architecting, building, and maintaining cost-efficient, scalable cloud environments for the organization.
- Understanding business objectives and creating cloud-based solutions to facilitate those objectives.

- Keeping cloud environments secure and preventing downtime or security breaches.
- Determining risks associated with third-party platforms or frameworks.

An Azure Technical Architect designs, builds, deploys, and maintains business applications and critical infrastructure inside the Azure Cloud. The need to have developed skills and expertise to help them design and build advanced cloud-based solutions and migrate existing workloads to the cloud.
Responsibilities are likely to include:
- Architecting, building, and maintaining cost-efficient, scalable cloud environments for the organization.
- Understanding business objectives of the company and creating cloud-based solutions to facilitate those objectives.
- Moving archaic systems into the cloud for more efficiency within the organization – aka digital transformation.
- Keeping cloud environments secure and preventing downtime or security breaches.
- Determining the risk associated with third-party platforms or frameworks.
- Looking for ways to improve operations within company to digitize common tasks.
- Designing, building, maintaining internal cloud applications for the organization.
- Transferring data and internal processes to cloud architecture.
- Keeping data leakage and downtime to an absolute minimum.
- Keeping up to date on best practices in cloud computing and making improvements to the cloud infrastructure of their company or organization.
- Communicating with internal teams, like Sales, Operations, and IT.

- In-depth knowledge of a wide range of Azure services, such as Azure Virtual Machines, Azure App Service, Azure SQL Database, Azure Storage, Azure Functions, Azure Networking,, Azure Active Directory, and Azure Security Center.
- Strong understanding of cloud security principles and best practices.
- Familiarity with Azure security tools and services, such as Azure Security Center, Azure Sentinel, Azure Key Vault, Azure Active Directory, and Azure Firewall.
- Experience in designing and implementing hybrid cloud solutions, integrating on-premises infrastructure with Azure services using technologies like Azure ExpressRoute, Azure Virtual Network, VPN Gateway, or Azure Arc.
- Knowledge of Azure data services, including Azure SQL Database, Azure Cosmos DB, Azure Data Lake Storage, Azure Databricks, and Azure Synapse Analytics.
- Experience with data migration and integration strategies.
