Summary: The Storage Engineer role involves designing, implementing, and managing various storage solutions, including IBM Flash and HPE storage systems. The position requires collaboration with IT teams to ensure integration with existing infrastructure and the development of documentation for storage configurations and best practices. The role also includes managing migration projects and providing technical support for network issues related to Brocade technologies. The working arrangement is primarily remote, with only one required office visit per month.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, implement, and manage IBM Flash storage solutions, including FlashSystem family and HPE storage systems.
- Develop and maintain documentation for 3PAR storage and HPE MSA infrastructure.
- Scope and manage new migration projects, ensuring alignment with team skills and customer requirements.
- Implement and maintain data replication and disaster recovery solutions using IBM & 3PAR features.
- Collaborate with other IT teams for seamless integration of storage solutions with servers, networks, and applications.
- Stay up-to-date with Brocade technologies and evaluate their potential benefits.
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting for Brocade network issues.
- Configure and manage Brocade switches, including VLANs and security features.
- Design and implement NetBackup and Rubrik technologies.
Key Skills:
- Experience with IBM Flash storage solutions and HPE storage systems.
- Knowledge of data replication and disaster recovery solutions.
- Familiarity with Brocade technologies and network configurations.
- Strong documentation skills for infrastructure and best practices.

Stay up-to-date with the latest Brocade technologies and features, and evaluate their potential benefits for our environment and Provide technical support and troubleshooting for Brocade network issues.
