Summary: The Sr Developer (Azure Backend) role involves developing backend microservices and integrating various Azure services and APIs. The position requires a technical lead-level maturity and a strong understanding of microservices architecture. Key Responsibilities:
- Develop backend microservices for data ingestion, orchestration, enrichment, and communication workflows
- Integrate with Azure Event Hub, Service Bus, Blob Storage, and external/internal APIs
- Ensure security, performance, and observability (logging, tracing, metrics)
- Write clean, testable code and contribute to CI/CD pipelines
Key Skills:
- Azure Data Factory (Azure Data Factory would be considered a bonus skill), Azure Functions, Azure Logic Apps
- RESTful APIs and event-driven systems
- Strong understanding of microservices architecture (App service and Azure Function)
- Queuing systems (Event Hub and Service Bus)
