Summary: The role is for a self-motivated Microsoft SQL Developer with at least two years of experience, focusing on developing data ingestion and processing systems in a fully remote environment. The position requires proficiency in SQL Server, Microsoft Azure, and various Azure integration tools, with responsibilities including SQL programming, unit testing, and collaboration with team members. The ideal candidate should possess strong communication skills and a problem-solving mindset, contributing to both new developments and legacy systems. This is a contract position for 40 hours per week, initially for six months.

Key Responsibilities:

• Reading and commenting on technical architecture and functional documentation
• Reading data models
• SQL Programming
• Develop unit test cases for modules and screens created
• Back-end development in SQL and SSIS/Azure Data Factory
• Optimize application for maximum speed and scalability
• Supporting other team members during systems and integration testing
• Estimate labor for completing work, such as coding a module or function
• Attending and contributing to SCRUM meetings
• Creating documentation describing program flow
• Translate functional and technical requirements to implement solutions
• Experience working remotely with globally located team members
