Summary: The Sage Intacct Technical Consultant will lead the implementation and configuration of Sage Intacct for a not-for-profit organization, ensuring alignment with financial management needs. This role involves collaborating with internal teams for system integration, customizing the software for fund accounting, and providing ongoing technical support. The consultant will also manage data migration and develop reports to enhance financial transparency. The position is remote and is expected to last for a minimum of six months.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the implementation and configuration of Sage Intacct to align with the financial management needs of a not-for-profit organization.
• Collaborate with internal teams to integrate Sage Intacct with existing systems such as donor management or fundraising platforms.
• Customize Sage Intacct to support the organization’s fund accounting, grant tracking, and donation processing requirements.
• Provide ongoing technical support and troubleshooting to ensure minimal disruption to operations.
• Design, develop, and optimize reports, dashboards, and integrations to enhance financial transparency and regulatory compliance.
• Manage data migration from legacy systems to Sage Intacct, ensuring accurate data transfer and integrity during the transition.
• Work with stakeholders to identify data mapping requirements and ensure seamless migration of historical data, including financials, donors, and grant details.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to data migration, working to ensure a smooth and accurate transition to Sage Intacct.

Key Skills:

• Strong expertise in Sage Intacct and cloud-based financial management systems.
• Experience configuring and managing Sage Intacct’s financial modules (GL, AP, AR, Fund Accounting) within a not-for-profit organization.
• Proficient in developing and managing integrations between Sage Intacct and third-party systems (e.g., donor management, CRM, payroll).
• Knowledge of integration platforms (e.g., Boomi, MuleSoft, Dell Boomi) and data transfer protocols (e.g., REST, SOAP).
• Experience with data migration from legacy systems to Sage Intacct, including knowledge of data mapping, ETL processes, and troubleshooting migration issues.
• Proficiency in SQL, scripting, and custom report development within Sage Intacct.
• Familiarity with managing multi-entity accounting and tracking donor funds, including restricted grants and donations.
