Summary: The Social Content & Growth Associate will be responsible for creating and managing short-form video content for social media platforms, focusing on TikTok and YouTube Shorts. This role requires collaboration with internal teams to develop engaging user-generated content (UGC) that aligns with brand guidelines. The position is part-time, remote, and involves producing a significant volume of video content monthly while engaging with the community. Candidates should have a strong understanding of mobile video editing and the Gen Z social media landscape.
Key Responsibilities:
- Consult with internal teams for style and content ideas for social UGC videos.
- Independently create scripts and video content for social media, focusing on western audiences and TikTok trends.
- Produce, record, and post 20-35 videos a month for TikTok, Instagram, and YouTube Shorts.
- Record in-game Sky content for content libraries and other creative teams.
- Assist the Social Media Team in managing regular Sky social content.
- Create authentic UGC appealing to a broad and young social audience.
- Repurpose and edit existing Sky video and livestream content for social formats.
- Identify and report on characteristics of produced UGC that resonate with audiences.
- Track, monitor, and report social viewership, engagement, and performance metrics.
- Produce and record video content for paid advertising (user acquisition) for Sky.
- Create UGC frameworks and assist partnered content creators.
- Engage with the Sky community on socials via comments and streams.
- Play and understand Sky to identify key themes for creating outbound content.
Key Skills:
- Familiarity with mobile video editing tools (e.g., Capcut); Adobe Creative Cloud experience is a plus.
- On-camera presence and experience.
- Experience navigating the Gen Z social media landscape.
- Ability to operate high-quality recording equipment.
- High proficiency or native English language and communication skills.
- Professional working experience, organization, and/or project management.
- Experience with tools like Zoom, Figma, Notion/Jira, and Google Workspace.
