Summary: The ServiceNow Developer role involves designing, developing, and implementing custom solutions on the ServiceNow platform to improve operational efficiency. Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and configure ServiceNow applications across ITSM, ITOM, HRSD, CSM, and other modules as required.
- Design and implement custom workflows, business rules, client scripts, UI policies, and catalog items.
- Perform system integrations using REST/SOAP APIs, MID servers, and other tools.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather and translate requirements into functional and technical specifications.
- Support platform upgrades and ensure compatibility with existing customizations and integrations.
- Document technical designs, solutions, processes, and procedures for ongoing maintenance and support.
- Conduct troubleshooting and root cause analysis for issues, and optimize performance and stability of the platform.
- Keep up to date with the latest ServiceNow features, capabilities, and industry best practices.
Key Skills:
- Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience as a ServiceNow Developer.
- Proficient in JavaScript, Glide API, and front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, AngularJS).
- Experience with core ServiceNow modules such as Incident, Problem, Change, Request, CMDB, and Knowledge Management.
- Proven experience integrating ServiceNow with external systems via REST/SOAP APIs.
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development methodologies.
- ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) is required.
- Additional certifications such as Certified Implementation Specialist (CIS) or Certified Application Developer (CAD) are a plus.
