Summary: The Guidewire Integration Developer role involves designing, developing, and maintaining integrations between Guidewire applications and external systems. The position requires collaboration with business analysts to gather requirements and deliver effective solutions while ensuring system reliability and performance. Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and maintain integrations between Guidewire applications and external systems using Gosu, Java, and middleware tools (e.g., MuleSoft) to ensure seamless data flow
  • Work closely with business analysts teams to gather and refine requirements, delivering scalable and effective solutions that meet business needs
  • Troubleshoot and resolve production issues in a timely manner, minimizing downtime and ensuring system reliability
  • Participate in code reviews, ensuring adherence to best practices and coding standards to maintain high-quality code
  • Support the testing and validation of workflows and integrations to ensure optimal performance and a seamless experience

Key Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field; Guidewire certification(s) a plus
  • Understanding of insurance workflows and data models, with experience in insurance transformation projects
  • Strong experience with Guidewire InsuranceSuite, including configuration and integration. Proficient in Gosu and Java for development. Experience in building and managing APIs. Familiarity with middleware tools like MuleSoft
  • Knowledge of DevOps tools and CI/CD pipelines for efficient development and deployment
  • Strong problem-solving and communication abilities for effective collaboration
