Summary: The Senior Tableau Developer role at Infosys involves leveraging expertise in Tableau, SSIS, and SSRS to manage incidents, develop dashboards, and optimize data reporting processes. Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the primary technical resource for incidents and service requests related to existing Tableau dashboards and reports, ensuring timely resolution and adherence to SLAs.
  • Perform root cause analysis for recurring issues in Tableau visualizations and the underlying data pipelines.
  • Lead the implementation of approved changes and enhancements to existing Tableau workbooks, ensuring they are deployed without impacting production stability.
  • Collaborate with the Reporting Lead and other technical teams to manage the backlog of reporting-related incidents and requests.
  • Design, develop, and maintain complex and interactive dashboards in Tableau for new enhancements and approved change requests.
  • Utilize SSIS (SQL Server Integration Services) to create, modify, and optimize ETL pipelines that feed data to the Tableau dashboards.
  • Develop and maintain reports in SSRS (SQL Server Reporting Services), ensuring their accuracy and business relevance.
  • Work closely with business stakeholders to understand their data visualization needs and translate them into effective, user-friendly reports and dashboards.
  • Proactively monitor the performance of Tableau Server dashboards and optimize them to reduce load times and improve user experience.
  • Tune SQL queries and SSIS packages to enhance the efficiency and reliability of data delivery.
  • Enforce best practices for data governance, report development standards, and version control within the Tableau environment.
  • Assist in managing user permissions and access controls for dashboards and reports.
  • Collaborate with data engineers to ensure the availability, quality, and integrity of data sources.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to junior team members on Tableau, SSIS, and SSRS.
  • Participate in code reviews for all report and ETL development activities.

Roles & Responsibilities:

AMS Incident & Change Management:
