Summary: The role of Senior SAP MDG Business Architect involves leading the design and optimization of business processes related to SAP MDG and ERP implementations. The architect will serve as a key liaison between business and IT, ensuring that solutions meet operational requirements while maintaining data quality and compliance. This position requires extensive experience in SAP projects, particularly in Master Data Management, and focuses on establishing a robust data landscape. The role is fully remote and offers a contract duration of six months with the possibility of extension.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the system-supported design of To-Be business processes across multiple workstreams in collaboration with GPOs and business functions
- Act as a key interface between business and IT, ensuring SAP MDG and ERP solutions meet business process requirements
- Ensure alignment between functional and technical requirements within SAP MDG and ERP configurations
- Establish and maintain a standardized global data model and related components
- Plan, lead, and support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) activities
- Lead and collaborate on data migration and data quality, including data mapping and alignment across system landscapes
- Ensure compliance with quality management systems (QMS) and computer systems validation (CSV) requirements
- Support end-user readiness and promote cross-functional collaboration
Key Skills:
- 7+ years of experience in SAP implementation projects with a strong focus on Master Data Management
- In-depth hands-on experience with SAP MDG
- Experience as a Business Architect or Solution Architect
- Strong expertise in data modelling, data structures, data flows, validation, and data quality practices
- Proven experience in business process design, optimization, and system integration
- Experience working in Agile delivery environments
- Experience in the Medical Technology industry is an advantage
- Knowledge of Quality Management Systems (QMS) and Computer Systems Validation (CSV) is preferred
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.

For our client, we are currently looking for an experienced Senior SAP MDG Business Architect (m/f/d) to support SAP MDG to ERP implementations.
The role focuses on defining, documenting, and optimizing end-to-end business processes across multiple workstreams, including Record to Report, Plan to Produce, Procure to Pay, and others. The objective is to establish a future-proof master data landscape that ensures data quality, compliance, and operational excellence.
