Summary: The Senior Planner for the CCS Project in Switzerland will oversee the planning and scheduling of CCUS projects, ensuring that timelines are logically linked to key milestones and decisions. This role involves close collaboration with project teams to track progress, manage risks, and contribute to monthly reporting. The planner will also develop standards for planning and scheduling across the project portfolio, focusing on successful execution from project identification to handover. The position requires a strong background in large-scale project planning and execution within the engineering and construction sectors.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Establish the project master and detailed time schedule.
  • Anticipate, identify and report any risk of delay and contribute in solutions to manage and mitigate deviations and risks.
  • Check and alert on adequacy and sufficient resources to meet deadlines.
  • Execute expediting to secure timely delivery of engineering, materials and equipment.
  • Organize or produce efficient project planning reporting in line with PM&E standards.
  • Support the Project Manager and other engineers on contract administration.
  • Contribute to PM&E monthly reporting and database.
  • Ensure Health & Safety values are integrated into planning.
  • Lead implementation of PPMS for progress measurement and invoicing.
  • Analyze contractor time schedule and progress monthly, proposing mitigation plans as needed.

Key Skills:

  • Engineering Bachelor or Master Degree with engineering/construction background.
  • At least 10 years experience as a planner in large projects (200+ CHF million).
  • EPC contractor and/or owner experience covering inception to commissioning phases.
  • Construction and commissioning planning experience.
  • Proficiency in planning and schedule optimization across all project phases.
  • Strong IT skills, including Excel, MS Project, and Primavera.
  • Excellent communication skills in English.
  • Ability to manage heavy workloads and prioritize effectively.
  • Experience in managing project risks and deviations.
  • Willingness to travel frequently to various locations.
