AWS | CI/CD | Docker | Kubernetes | JMeter | Locust

A leading consultancy has engaged SR2 to build a brand new team for a Government project. This multi-year engagement project poses a great opportunity for someone to come on board for 2+ years.

This role is central to ensuring the scalability, robustness and performance of various applications by carrying out large-scale performance tests. These tests will be carried out using tools such as Locust and JMeter and you will be responsible for planning, designing and executing these tests and both web and cloud-based applications. Therefore, experience with AWS cloud environments is essential.

Alongside this, responsibilities also include:

• Lead the overall performance test strategy
• Head up and lead multiple projects
• Design KIPs and performance criteria
• Oversee the creation of automation scripts into CI/CD pipelines.
• Collaborate with internal, external and cross-functional teams.
• Lead the development of detailed reports on system performance, reliability and scalability to produce recommendations.
• Ensuring documentation complies with UK Gov standards.

Skills/Experience

• 7+ years as a performance tester
• AWS experience
• Understanding of Docker and Kubernetes
• Integrating automation scripts into CI/CD pipelines.
• Active SC clearance poses a significant advantage.

This role is largely remote, outside IR35 and paying 450-475p/d
