Summary: The Senior MMM (Marketing Mix Modeling) Consultant/Business Analyst role involves translating MMM insights into actionable business strategies through collaboration with cross-functional teams, including marketing and finance. This position requires a detail-oriented professional with strong analytical skills to drive decision-making and optimize ROI. The consultant will be responsible for stakeholder alignment, data validation, budget analysis, and delivering insights to senior leadership.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Stakeholder Alignment & Scoping: Collaborate with marketing, finance, and other teams to define KPIs, measurement objectives, and project scope.
  • Data Collection & Validation: Gather and validate accurate data inputs (eg, media spend, promotions, sales figures) and ensure consistency across datasets.
  • Budget & Spend Analysis: Analyze marketing budgets, cost of media, and spend allocations to align with business goals and optimize ROI.
  • Model Review & Interpretation: Partner with the MMM modelling team to review outputs and translate results into actionable recommendations for stakeholders.
  • ROI Measurement & Optimization: Evaluate campaign ROI and identify opportunities to reallocate budgets for maximum impact.
  • Scenario Planning & Forecasting: Develop scenarios to assess the impact of changes in marketing strategies or budgets and provide forward-looking insights.
  • Reporting & Insights Delivery: Create concise reports and presentations summarizing MMM findings and present insights to senior leadership.

Key Skills:

  • 5+ years in marketing analytics, business analysis, or similar roles, with proven experience using MMM outputs to drive decisions.
  • Proven track record of working with Marketing Mix Modeling (MMM) outputs to drive business decisions.
  • Experience in stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration.
  • Excel (Advanced) - Data analysis & visualization.
  • SQL (Intermediate) - Querying & manipulating large datasets.
  • MMM Understanding - Must interpret models (no need to build them).
