Summary: The Senior/Lead SDET role involves working on a critical systems integration project for a leading financial services provider, focusing on automating customer account closures as part of a digital transformation initiative. The position requires a hands-on Software Development Engineer in Test with expertise in ETL and systems integration testing. The candidate will enhance existing test automation scripts and collaborate with both local and offshore teams. This is a remote position with an initial duration of three months, potentially extendable for another three months.
Key Responsibilities:
- Enhance and develop existing test automation scripts.
- Collaborate with offshore teams to support testing functions.
- Conduct ETL and systems integration testing in data-focused environments.
- Participate in the automation of customer account closure processes.
- Support the broader digital transformation programme within the bank.
Key Skills:
- Strong ETL testing experience in data-focused environments.
- Experience with test automation frameworks and scripting.

- Previous experience in financial services, ideally banking.
- Leadership or previous mentoring experience (nice to have).
