Summary: The Manufacturing Engineer role focuses on developing and executing manufacturing strategies for a high-performance automotive prototype in Denmark. The position requires hands-on involvement in establishing core processes and tooling strategies while collaborating with cross-functional teams. Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute manufacturing strategies for a performance vehicle prototype.
- Establish core manufacturing processes and tooling strategies.
- Coordinate cross-functional build activities and contribute to long-term production readiness.
- Plan assembly stations, tool layouts, and part storage.
- Develop processes for issue raising and tracking.
- Provide hands-on leadership throughout the prototype build.
- Influence and improve manufacturing processes within the automotive industry.
Key Skills:
- Experience in low-volume, high-performance automotive manufacturing.
- Strong communication skills in English, both written and spoken.
- Proficiency in CAD tools for virtual build planning and fixture design.
- Practical knowledge of CFRP components and small-batch manufacturing.
- Strong IT skills (Excel, tracking systems, reporting).
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively across functions.
- Experience in setting up or improving manufacturing processes from scratch.
- Background in complete vehicle development programmes, ideally in early-phase or prototype builds.
