Summary: The role of Senior/Lead Full-Stack Product Designer involves overseeing the entire design lifecycle in the educational sector, from research to UX/UI execution. The designer will be responsible for shaping the product experience and delivering innovative solutions that enhance user engagement. This position requires collaboration with various stakeholders and a strong focus on user-centered design practices. The contract is for six months and is remote, offering a daily rate of £400 outside IR35.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the end-to-end design process, from user research to high-fidelity UI.
  • Collaborate closely with product managers, engineers, and stakeholders to define and execute product vision.
  • Conduct user research, interviews, and usability testing to deeply understand user needs.
  • Translate research insights into wireframes, prototypes, and final designs that align with business goals.
  • Ensure a seamless and delightful user experience across platforms.
  • Advocate for best design practices, accessibility, and design consistency.
  • Work in an agile environment to iterate quickly and efficiently.

Key Skills:

  • Proven experience as a Full-Stack Product Designer, ideally in a senior or lead role.
  • A strong portfolio showcasing UX/UI work, particularly on products taken from 0 to 1.
  • Expertise in user research methodologies, interaction design, and visual design.
  • Proficiency in Figma, Sketch, or similar design tools.
  • Strong ability to translate complex ideas into simple, elegant solutions.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Bonus: Experience designing for education or EdTech products.

Salary (Rate): £400.00
