Summary: Whitehall Resources is seeking three SAP Project Managers for an initial 6-month contract to support a large-scale SAP S/4HANA transformation program focused on Enterprise Asset Management (EAM). The roles are primarily remote with occasional travel, and candidates must be proficient in English, with German required for the position based in Germany. Each Project Manager will oversee IT activities across multiple Business Units in their respective countries. The project follows the SAP Activate methodology and is currently in the Explore phase.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead IT Delivery: Plan and oversee the EAM IT activities, ensuring seamless execution across the program phases.
- Project Execution: Manage key IT activities, such as Fit-to-Standard analysis, Detailed Design, Blueprint creation, Configuration, and Testing.
- Project Planning & Tracking: Utilize project management tools (preferably Microsoft Project) to structure activities, track progress, and drive timely execution.
- Risk & Issue Management: Identify potential project risks, implement mitigation strategies, and escalate issues as needed.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with the EAM Business Leads to align business requirements with IT solutions.
- Delivery Oversight: Manage a team of functional consultants to ensure high-quality and timely delivery of EAM solutions.
- Reporting & Governance: Provide regular status updates and progress reports.
- Hands-on Involvement: Depending on expertise, contribute to solution architecture, design decisions, and hands-on implementation activities.
Key Skills:
- Project Management Expertise: Strong experience in leading IT delivery within SAP S/4HANA transformation programs.
- Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) Knowledge: Understanding of/exposure to EAM processes (primarily maintenance management and inventory management).
- Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with SAP EAM functionalities, configurations, and integration aspects.
- Leadership skills: Proven ability to lead multidisciplinary teams, driving collaboration between IT and business stakeholders.
- Communication & Stakeholder Management: Excellent interpersonal skills to engage with management, business leads, and technical teams.
- Language skills: English is mandatory for all three roles. German is mandatory for the role working with German business units.
