Summary: The SAP Aerospace & Defense Enterprise Architect is responsible for designing and managing SAP solutions tailored to the aerospace and defense industry. This role requires extensive knowledge of SAP solutions, particularly in MRO and Supply Chain Distribution, along with significant experience in S/4HANA implementations. The architect will lead delivery excellence, manage client relationships, and mentor junior team members while ensuring successful project execution. The position is remote and classified as outside IR35.
Key Responsibilities:
- Designing, implementing, and managing SAP solutions for the aerospace and defense industry.
- Leading the delivery of solution business blueprints to meet business requirements.
- Shaping strategy and roadmap across multiple lines of business.
- Facilitating integration between Bedrock and applications.
- Managing overall manufacturing solutions and their integration with other applications.
- Building credibility and gaining "trusted advisor" status with clients and stakeholders.
- Championing delivery methodologies and toolsets.
- Identifying areas for improvement within existing SAP landscapes.
- Collaborating with stakeholders to ensure successful implementation.
- Providing guidance to junior team members and contributing to project success.

Required Skills:
- Extensive knowledge of SAP solutions specific to the A&D industry (MRO/ Supply Chain Distribution), including SAP S/4 and industry specific
- 12 years professional experience with experience with S4
- S/4HANA Greenfield/ Brownfield implementation experience
- Delivery Excellence: Ability to lead the delivery of a solution business blueprint that will satisfy business requirements and enable timely and profitable delivery on projects.
- Ability to take a leadership role on a program shaping strategy and roadmap across multiple lines of business.
- Demonstrated ability to lead across the full lifecycle of large transformation projects.
- Facilitate integration between Bedrock and applications
- Manage the overall manufacturing solution (MM/Demand and Supply (MRP)/PLM-ERP/ERP-MOM/EWM/QM/STM/GTS/E&HS) and its integration to other Value Streams and Cross Bedrock (PLM & MOM) applications in the classified area
- Understanding of the Final Assembly process with Parameter Effectivity

- Client Relationships: Building credibility and gain "trusted advisor " status with key clients, project team members and stakeholders, including directors, across the entire scope of the engagement.
- Delivery Excellence: Champion for delivery Activate methodology and supporting toolsets (JIRA, Confluence, DAN, etc.). Will be a recognized leader amongst peers in knowledge and execution excellence - consistently setting the bar for excellence in delivery.
- Proactively working with regional and global capability management to ensure delivery capabilities are aligned to market demand in both established a new areas of expertise.
- Expertise knowledge in core business processes, and associated functions, for one industry sector, or a limited number of micro industry sectors. Capable of facilitating a technology agnostic business capability /process workshop.
