We are seeking a high-level healthcare Data analyst for a critical, fast-paced project focused on transforming complex operational data into interactive leadership dashboards. If you excel at turning messy Excel extracts into polished, automated visual stories, we want to hear from you.
Logistics & Arrangement
- Location: Richmond, VA
- Work Arrangement: 100% Remote (Must be able to pick up equipment in person in Richmond, VA, if selected).
- Interview Process: Web Cam or In-Person.
- Schedule: Flexible (Full-time or Part-time / 20 hours per week).
Key Responsibilities
- Dashboard Development: Lead the end-to-end conversion of internal tracking data (Excel-based) into a comprehensive Power BI suite.
- Data Modeling: Build scalable data models optimized for large datasets and automated refresh logic.
- Requirement Gathering: Conduct workshops with stakeholders to define KPIs like ticket aging, priority trends, and facility-level insights.
- Advanced Analytics: Develop specific dashboards for system maintenance, operational decision-making, and volume tracking.
- Knowledge Transfer: Create technical documentation and mentor internal staff for long-term dashboard maintenance.
Required Skills & Experience
- Power BI Mastery: Expert-level experience in Data Modeling, DAX, and Power Query.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Proven ability to translate business needs into technical requirements.
- Data Visualization: A portfolio of intuitive, "leadership-ready" dashboards with drill-down capabilities.
- Operational Reporting: Experience with IT service management or ticket-tracking analytics.
- Bonus Skills: Experience with EHR systems (like Avatar or Cerner/Oracle Millennium) is a significant plus.
