About the Role

AaraTech Inc is seeking a Cyber Security Analyst Power & Utilities to support security operations, threat monitoring, and vulnerability management for energy and utility systems. This role assists in protecting critical infrastructure, ensuring regulatory compliance, and responding to security incidents. Ideal for early-career professionals building cybersecurity skills in regulated utility environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor security alerts and respond to incidents
• Assist in identifying and mitigating security vulnerabilities
• Support implementation of security controls and policies
• Monitor network traffic and system activities for threats
• Assist with compliance and regulatory security requirements
• Maintain security logs and documentation
• Support endpoint, network, and application security
• Collaborate with IT and DevOps teams for secure operations
  Required Qualifications

• 1 2 years of experience in Cyber Security or IT Security
• Basic knowledge of network security and security tools
• Familiarity with SIEM, firewalls, and IDS/IPS
• Understanding of Linux and Windows systems
• Knowledge of cloud security basics (AWS preferred)
• Basic scripting knowledge (Python/Shell)
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Good communication skills
