Key Responsibilities:
- Managing day-to-day compliance matters and handling mid-complexity regulatory queries autonomously.
- Advising Associates, Partners, and other stakeholders on SRA Standards & Regulations.
- Supporting and coaching junior compliance team members to develop their skills and knowledge.
- Drafting reports, regulatory updates, and papers for senior management.
- Leading training sessions for fee earners and new starters on compliance and regulatory topics.
- Contributing to process improvement projects within the General Counsel Team.
Key Skills:
- Strong background in compliance or in-house legal functions, ideally within a law firm or professional services environment.
- Proven knowledge of SRA Standards and Regulations, with awareness of FCA compliance requirements.
- Excellent communication skills, with the confidence to present and report to senior stakeholders.
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- A legal qualification (solicitor, lawyer) is desirable but not essential.

The Role
The Regulatory Specialist will act as a trusted subject matter expert, working closely with senior stakeholders across the business to ensure compliance with legal and regulatory obligations.
