Summary: The Scrum Master role in London involves guiding Agile teams to deliver high-quality products and solutions. Key Responsibilities:
- Act as Scrum Master for one or more Agile teams, facilitating all Scrum ceremonies (Sprint Planning, Daily Stand-ups, Sprint Reviews, and Retrospectives).
- Coach team members on Agile best practices and the Scrum framework.
- Shield the team from external interruptions and distractions to ensure focus on sprint goals.
- Support the Product Owner with backlog management, refinement, and user story prioritization.
- Identify, track, and help remove obstacles that impede the team’s progress.
- Foster a collaborative and self-organizing team environment.
- Monitor sprint progress using tools like Jira, Azure DevOps, or equivalent.
- Report on key Agile metrics (velocity, burndown charts, cycle time) to drive transparency and improvements.
- Promote Agile culture throughout the organization through coaching and workshops.
- Facilitate communication and alignment between development teams and business stakeholders.
Key Skills:
- 5+ years of experience as a Scrum Master in a software development environment.
- Strong understanding of Agile frameworks, especially Scrum and Kanban.
- Experience using Agile tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence, Trello, Rally, Azure DevOps).
- Excellent facilitation, coaching, and conflict-resolution skills.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational abilities.
- Proven ability to work with distributed and cross-functional teams.
- Certified ScrumMaster (CSM), Professional Scrum Master (PSM), or equivalent certification preferred.
- Knowledge of SAFe, LeSS, or other scaled Agile frameworks.
- Background in software development, QA, or project management is a plus.
