Regulatory Reporting Consultant - Banking - Romania

Summary: The role of Regulatory Reporting Consultant involves supporting a leading challenger bank's Romanian branch for an initial period of three months, with potential for extension. The position is fully remote and requires immediate availability, as well as fluency in Romanian and the right to work in Europe. Key responsibilities include scoping regulatory requirements and ensuring the completeness of reports for the Romanian Central Bank. The consultant will also document reporting requirements and review generated reports from third-party vendors.

Key Responsibilities:

• Scope regulatory requirements (COREP) and assure completeness of reports to be sent to the Romanian Central Bank.
• Identify frequency, reporting dates, file formats, and other necessary information for each report, documenting in Confluence pages.
• Identify reporting requirements for Romanian reports production and open tickets for necessary actions.
• Review reports generated by third-party vendors or production teams and support any scoping questions.
• Attend meetings with the Romanian Central Bank, if needed.

• Experience in regulatory reporting within the banking sector.
