Summary: The Project Completion/QAQC Turnover Manager at Dornan will oversee the completion and turnover processes for a hyperscale datacentre project in North London. This role involves coordinating with clients and stakeholders, managing asset tag checklists, and ensuring timely handover of systems and equipment. The manager will also facilitate communication and document decisions throughout the turnover phase, while maintaining strong relationships with contractors and the commissioning team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Participate in the completion of asset tag checklists for pre-commissioning, commissioning, and final hand-over.
  • Coordinate with clients and stakeholders to ensure understanding of the turnover process and resolve issues early.
  • Document important decisions, alignments, and agreements.
  • Establish close client relationships, especially with Contractors and the Commissioning/turnover team.
  • Assist in developing and maintaining the system/asset turnover schedule.
  • Educate and raise awareness of the turnover program with construction and subcontractor personnel.
  • Host completions/turnover meetings and represent Dornan in client turnover meetings.
  • Track the completion status of each Asset Tag Checklist and prepare status reports.
  • Coordinate with Engineering for vendor representatives required for equipment installation.
  • Inform project management of progress, status, and critical issues.
  • Facilitate the transfer of care, custody, and control of systems.
  • Issue formal notification of Mechanical Completion to the Client.

Key Skills:

  • Third level degree or relevant industry experience.
  • Experience in Data Centres, Industrial, or Power sectors.
  • Strong computer skills, particularly in Excel and project scheduling.
  • Understanding of construction activities and QA processes.
  • Ability to produce written documents and procedures.
  • Knowledge of CSA/Mechanical/Electrical systems.
  • Familiarity with BIM360 and Microsoft Office Suite.
