Quality Assurance(Automation)

Summary: The Quality Assurance (Automation) role focuses on integrating C# with Playwright for automating manual test cases, executing batch test runs, and configuring automated tests in CI/CD pipelines. The position requires extensive experience in software quality assurance, particularly in backend testing and SQL query writing. Candidates should be proficient in using Azure TFS and have a solid understanding of API testing. This role is remote and classified as outside IR35.

Key Responsibilities:

• Integrating C# with Playwright along with automating manual test cases in C# .Net
• Executing batch test runs for multiple test suites, validating regression and integration scenarios
• Configuring and maintaining hourly automated batch smoke tests to quickly detect critical defects in production and staging environments
• Writing simple and complex queries in SQL from the ground up
• Configuring API tests in CI/CD pipelines (ADO)
• Working with Azure TFS that includes Scrum Boards, ticket creation, and manual test storage

Key Skills:

• 5 years of experience in Software Quality Assurance and Testing including test execution and data setup
• 3 years of experience analyzing system requirements and creating test cases
• 3 years experience with any testing tool to create and execute test cases, track defects and perform requirements coverage
• 2 years experience in backend testing using complex database queries in SQL Server or Oracle
• 3 years experience with Quality Center or Microsoft Test Manager or similar tools
• 2 years experience in setting up test environments, test data
• Preferred 1 year experience in executing batch job
• 3 years experience in the Sr. SQA Analyst position is preferred
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related analytical field or equivalent experience is preferred
