Summary: The role of QA Automation (Advanced English) SR involves developing and executing both automated and manual test scripts while collaborating with international teams. The position requires advanced English proficiency and a strong background in quality assurance, including experience with various testing tools and methodologies. The candidate will be responsible for creating detailed test plans, identifying issues, and ensuring product quality through rigorous testing processes. This is a fully remote position based in Brazil.
Key Responsibilities:
- Developing and executing test scripts, automatic and manual tests.
- Review requirements and technical design documents to provide timely and meaningful feedback.
- Create detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test plans and tests cases.
- Estimate, prioritize, plan, and execute quality tests.
- Identify, record, document, and track issues.
- Develop and apply test processes for new and existing products.
- Elaborate API tests and contract check.
Key Skills:
- Work experience in products testing / quality assurance.
- Experience in writing clear, concise, and comprehensive test plans and test cases, as well as tests reports.
- Knowledge of scripting languages (Python, Node.js, Type Script).
- Strong database knowledge MySQL and DYNAMO DB.
- Understanding AWS Cloud platform.
- Understanding Jira tools.
- Ability with Zephyr Scale test tools.
- Agile Principles: Understanding of agile values and principles (collaboration, customer focus, adaptability, iterative development).
- SCRUM/KANBAN experience: Experience working in scrum or kanban environments, understanding their ceremonies and artifacts.
- Strong teamwork and communication skills, able to work effectively with other coworkers.
- Open to feedback, willing to learn and adjust to changing requirements.
- Ability to analyze problems, propose solutions, and implement them effectively.
