Project Coordinator

Summary: The Project Coordinator role involves overseeing vendor quality management and supporting quality operations within a localization context. The position requires engagement with stakeholders and managing communications across vendors while ensuring compliance with guidelines. The coordinator will also be responsible for recruiting and training linguists, managing linguistic assets, and reporting on quality results. This is a remote position based in the UK for a duration of 6 months.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support and engage with vendor quality stakeholders.
• Oversee and support quality at vendor level in a cross-vendor engagement.
• Monitor cross-vendor communications and ensure compliance with guidelines.
• Support recruiting, testing, onboarding, and training of LQA specialists.
• Manage requests and relay feedback to vendors and stakeholders.
• Support maintenance of linguistic assets and terminology updates.
• Manage LQA tasks and oversee implementation of feedback tasks.
• Report on quality results and ensure internal trackers are up-to-date.
• Support operational and quality processes without automation.
• Assess quality of translations and manage handoffs to quality vendors.
• Act as the first point of contact for linguist queries.

Key Skills:

• 3+ years of experience in localization project or quality management.
• BA/BS in translation, linguistics, or equivalent.
• Experience with localization platforms, file formats, and CAT tools.
• Ability to communicate clearly with culturally diverse audiences.
• Strong prioritization and multitasking skills in a fast-paced environment.
• Proactive attitude and adaptability to change.
• Excellent communication, time management, and organizational skills.
• Familiarity with social media and virtual reality products.
• Knowledge of languages other than English is a plus.

Salary (Rate): £51,000.00
