Summary: The Product Owner/Product Manager role involves defining the product vision, creating roadmaps, and managing the delivery process for health plan software products. The position requires translating complex healthcare processes into actionable features and user stories while serving as the voice of the customer within an Agile team. Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand and anticipate business needs and translate them into product requirements.
- Define, document, and communicate requirements based on stakeholder input and research.
- Create and manage the product backlog, prioritizing based on business value and customer needs.
- Develop user stories with clear acceptance criteria.
- Lead Agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, reviews, and daily stand-ups.
- Serve as the liaison between business stakeholders and the technical team.
- Ensure the product aligns with business goals and customer needs.
- Track and report on team progress, capacity, and velocity.
- Monitor and evaluate product progress at each stage of development.
- Participate in issue/risk mitigation and solutioning.
- Ensure product increments meet regulatory requirements.
- Ensure ongoing alignment between the team’s backlog and business objectives.
Key Skills:
- Experience as a Product Owner in an Agile environment.
- Proficiency with Agile tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps, or Rally.
- Strong understanding of healthcare industry regulations and compliance.
