Guidewire Insurance

Summary: The role involves customizing and configuring Guidewire applications using Gosu and Java, focusing on PolicyCenter, BillingCenter, or ClaimCenter as per business requirements. Key Responsibilities:

• Customize and configure Guidewire applications using Gosu and Java
• Work on Guidewire PolicyCenter, BillingCenter, or ClaimCenter based on business needs
• Design and implement integration components using Web Services (SOAP/REST), messaging (JMS/Kafka), and external APIs
• Collaborate with business analysts and QA teams to define requirements and deliver solutions
• Perform unit testing and support system/integration testing
• Troubleshoot and resolve production issues and bugs
• Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and support DevOps pipelines
• 5 years of experience with Guidewire Insurance Suite
• Hands-on experience in Gosu scripting language
• Experience with Guidewire Configuration & Integration (Edge, Plugins, Messaging)
• Solid Java development background
• Knowledge of insurance domain (preferably P&C)
• Familiarity with tools: IntelliJ IDEA, Jenkins, Git, JIRA
• Strong understanding of SDLC and Agile methodology
