Summary: The Principal Solutions Engineer role is a full-time position focused on developing innovative solutions within the P&C insurance domain, particularly emphasizing rating engines. The candidate will lead discovery sessions, gather requirements, and leverage strong technical expertise in .NET and Azure. Key Responsibilities:

  • P&C Insurance experience - rating engine experience strongly preferred
  • Experience building greenfield solutions and leading discovery sessions to gather functional and technical requirements
  • Strong experience with .NET and Azure
  • Homeowners / P&C domain expertise highly preferred

Key Skills:

  • Minimum 5+ years of professional software development experience
  • Proven full-stack experience with front-end frameworks: React, Angular, or Vue
  • Enterprise languages: .NET (required), Java, Python, or TypeScript
  • Strong SQL or equivalent databases
  • Strong cloud experience (Azure preferred; AWS/Google Cloud Platform acceptable)
  • Expertise with Git, CI/CD, and modern DevOps practices
  • Experience with Agile/Scrum/Kanban environments
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder interaction, and the ability to work in consulting-style engagements
  • Experience with Infrastructure as Code preferred
  • Consulting background a plus
  • Innovative mindset with openness to AI-driven development methods
