Key Responsibilities:
- Installation and configuration of PostgreSQL instances including system-related software
- Importing new release statuses, patches, and security updates
- Monitoring, maintenance, and administration of existing database environments
- Implementation of security requirements and compliance requirements
- Execution of backups and recovery procedures (physical & logical)
- Performance analysis and optimization
- Creation and maintenance of technical documentation
- Automation of administrative processes by means of scripting
- Support for deployments of PostgreSQL objects
- Cooperation with infrastructure, security, and application teams
Key Skills:
- Several years of experience in the administration of PostgreSQL databases
- Sound knowledge of user and rights management

For our customer from the banking sector, we are looking for an experienced PostgreSQL Administrator in employment subject to social security contributions.The project includes the development, operation and optimization of complex PostgreSQL database landscapes with a focus on performance, security and stability.
Tasks
Installation and configuration of PostgreSQL instances incl. system-related software
Importing new release statuses, patches and security updates
Monitoring, maintenance and administration of existing database environments
Implementation of security requirements and compliance requirements
Execution of backups and recovery procedures (physical & logical)
