Summary: The Oracle Test Specialist role focuses on designing and executing tests for Oracle Fusion ERP/HCM systems, ensuring alignment with predefined business requirements and processes. The position requires the identification of inconsistencies in test artifacts and the development of test scripts for various testing stages. The specialist will also manage defects and support the Test Manager in reporting and acceptance criteria definition. This role is remote with occasional office attendance and requires SC Clearance or recently lapsed clearance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design tests based on predefined requirements and business processes.
- Identify inconsistencies and gaps in test artifacts, recommending corrective changes.
- Develop and execute tests during Functional testing, SIT, and UAT stages.
- Prepare test environments and test data, and manage defects through to resolution.
- Support the Test Manager in producing daily status reports and end-of-test stage reports.
- Contribute to the definition of entry and exit acceptance criteria.
Key Skills:
- 3+ years of experience with Oracle Fusion ERP/HCM.
- Solid test analyst skills, preferably with ISEB/ISTQB qualifications.
- Experience in test script writing and exposure to BDD.
- Strong functional skills with expertise in various Oracle modules.
- Knowledge of modern test standards and best practices.
- Experience using Jira with X-ray test management plug-in or equivalent.

description: Oracle Test Specialist Oracle Fusion essential Duration: to May 2026 (initial) Remote working with occasional office SC Clearance (or could consider recently lapsed) The Oracle Test Analyst will design tests based up on a set of predefined requirements and defined ‘to be’ business and system processes taking into consideration any relevant predefined business scenarios. The Test analyst will identity inconsistencies and gaps within these artefacts, recommending corrective changes and additions. They will design and develop tests that can be executed during one or more of the following test stages: Functional testing, SIT, UAT. The Test Analyst will be responsible for design tests (ready for later test automation), preparing test environments and test data, performing test execution (static and dynamic) and managing defects through to resolution. The Test Analyst will support the Test manager in the production of daily status reports; end of test stage reports and test run reports and contribute to definition of entry and exit acceptance criteria.
