Summary: The Oracle Global Trade Management Consultant role involves managing end-to-end Oracle GTM implementations, including solution design and compliance with global trade regulations. The consultant will also be responsible for configuring GTM modules and providing post-go-live support. Strong analytical skills and experience in project management methodologies are essential for optimizing business processes. The position is remote and requires extensive knowledge of global trade compliance and Oracle GTM systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Handle end-to-end Oracle GTM implementations, including requirements gathering, solution design, build, testing, and go-live support.
- Design and configure GTM modules such as Trade Compliance, Restricted Party Screening, Customs Management, License and Permit Management, Trade Document Automation, Product Classification, and Global Trade Master Data.
- Integrate GTM with brokers and external compliance platforms using APIs or middleware (e.g., OIC, SOA Suite).
- Coordinate data migration, master data management, and mapping for regulatory compliance and operational accuracy.
- Conduct unit, integration, and user acceptance testing.
- Manage customs filing (including US AES), screening for sanctions/embargoes, and ensure documentation compliance with global trade regulations.
- Provide post-go-live support, troubleshooting, enhancements, and compliance updates per shifting trade rules and regulatory changes.
Key Skills:
- 6+ years of hands-on Oracle GTM implementation experience, including at least one GTM Cloud implementation.
- Good understanding of global trade compliance processes, customs filing (AES, FDA), import/export documentation, and cross-border regulations in multiple countries.
- Experience configuring and deploying GTM modules: Restricted Party Screening, License Management, Trade Item/Product Classification, Customs Management.
- Knowledge of integrating GTM with OTM, ERP systems, and external broker/compliance content providers.
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills with a proven ability to optimize business processes for compliance and efficiency.
- Project management experience in global, multi-business unit environments using Agile or Waterfall methodologies.
- Excellent English communication and presentation skills.
- Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies is required.
- Familiarity with regulatory frameworks (US, EU, APAC), global trade programs, and best practices for automating compliance is a plus.
- Oracle GTM/OTM cloud certifications highly desirable.
