Summary: The role of Functional Architect focuses on leveraging expertise in Oracle Fusion Cloud Supply Chain Management (SCM) to lead client engagements, analyze business requirements, and design scalable solutions. Key Responsibilities:
- Lead client workshops and interviews to gather and analyze business requirements related to the entire supply chain, including inventory management, order fulfillment, procurement, and logistics.
- Translate business requirements into a functional design document. Architect and configure the Oracle SCM Cloud application to meet client needs, ensuring best practices are followed.
- Act as a subject matter expert (SME) and a primary point of contact for clients, providing guidance on best-in-class supply chain processes and how to optimize their use of the Oracle Cloud platform.
- Guide the technical team in the development of customizations, integrations, and data migration strategies. Lead system testing, user acceptance testing (UAT), and go-live activities.
- Assist in presales activities, including the preparation of proposals, statements of work, and product demonstrations for prospective clients.
- Mentor and provide guidance to junior functional consultants, helping them grow their expertise in Oracle SCM.
Key Skills:
- A minimum of 5-7 years of experience with Oracle applications, with at least 3 years focused on implementing and configuring Oracle Fusion Cloud SCM.
- In-depth understanding of core SCM processes and modules, including Inventory Management, Order Management, Procurement, Logistics (Shipping and Transportation Management), Supply Planning and Cost Management.
- Proven ability to lead and manage client relationships, conduct effective workshops, and present complex information clearly and concisely.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to identify and address client challenges.
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as Computer Science, Information Technology, or Business Administration.
