Summary: The Oracle EPM Cloud Consultant role at Smartedge involves providing functional and technical expertise in Oracle EPM Cloud applications, specifically focusing on Planning, Budgeting, Forecasting, and Financial Reporting processes. The position requires managing EPBCS applications, troubleshooting reports, and maintaining business rules while ensuring strong analytical and problem-solving skills. The consultant will also need to demonstrate effective communication and customer service skills while working remotely with some travel required. A background in finance or computer science, along with relevant experience in Oracle EPM, is essential for success in this role.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide functional/technical expertise to support Planning, Budgeting, Forecasting, and Financial Reporting processes.
  • Manage client's EPBCS applications including metadata updates, data uploads, mapping tables, and security provisioning.
  • Troubleshoot and develop EPM Reports and Smart View templates/files.
  • Troubleshoot financial statement disconnects to source system(s).
  • Manage EPM Automate.
  • Maintain Business Rules, calculation & aggregation script logic, rules and files.
  • Demonstrate strong analytical skills, problem solving/debugging skills.
  • Provide operational support experience (Incident Management, Problem Management, Request Fulfilment, etc.).
  • Advise clients in a functional capacity and consult in a technical capacity.
  • Design new applications using information gathered up front.

Key Skills:

  • Experience with Oracle Enterprise Planning and Budgeting Cloud Service (EPBCS) or 8 years with Oracle Planning and Budgeting Cloud Service (PBCS).
  • Experience with Oracle EPM Cloud Data Exchange (Data Management) and/or FDMEE/FDM.
  • Experience with building reports in Oracle Smart View and Oracle Cloud EPM Reports.
  • Strong organization skills and attention to detail.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office versions 2010 – 2016.
  • Degree in Finance or Computer Science or equivalent combination of education and work experience.
  • Recent working experience with PBCS or EPBCS implementations.

Smartedge’s Client is looking for an individual to help with their Oracle EPM Cloud Consultant @ 100 % Remote (Some travel required onsite if need)

Key area:

  • Provide functional/technical expertise to support Planning, Budgeting, Forecasting, and Financial Reporting processes.
  • Manage client's EPBCS applications including metadata updates, data uploads, mapping tables, and security provisioning
  • Troubleshoot and develop EPM Reports and Smart View templates/files
