Summary: The Oracle EBS Developer role involves providing technical support and development for Finance & Payment Technology Services, focusing on the Oracle eBusiness Suite. The position requires flexibility in working hours, including nights and weekends, to meet client needs. The developer will enhance existing applications and create new solutions while adhering to secure coding practices and Agile methodologies. A strong background in Oracle PL/SQL and financial modules is essential for success in this role.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support application and system development, maintenance, and technical support for Finance & Payment Technology Services.
- Enhance and support production applications and create new applications as needed.
- Act as a Functional Subject Matter Expert (SME) in Oracle eBusiness Suite modules, particularly in Financials.
- Minimize RICE development by utilizing COTS functionality in solution design.
- Provide on-call and after-hours support for production systems.
- Work with customers/end users to ensure their needs are met effectively.
- Update configuration documents and diagrams as required.
- Utilize Agile methodologies and attend Agile ceremonies for project work.
- Acquire thorough knowledge of assigned systems and client business processes.
Key Skills:
- Minimum of 8 years of experience developing in Oracle eBusiness Suite 12.2.9 - Financials preferred.
- Expertise in Oracle PL/SQL and knowledge of payment processing methods including EFT and NACHA.
- Experience with Agile/Scrum processes and management tools (preferably VersionOne) and IT Service Management Systems (preferably ServiceNow).
- Strong implementation background in Oracle eBusiness Suite modules: Purchasing, Accounts Receivables, Accounts Payables, Fixed Assets, Project Accounting, and General Ledger.
- Ability to solution complex business requirements and troubleshoot issues effectively.
- Experience with Kafka Queues, APIs, and Flat File processing.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to mentor less experienced personnel.
- Degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or related discipline preferred.
