Key Responsibilities:

• Install, configure, and maintain Oracle databases in cloud, ensuring optimal performance, availability, and security.
• Perform advanced query tuning and optimization to enhance database performance and efficiency.
• Manage and monitor production Oracle databases, ensuring high availability and disaster recovery readiness.
• Implement and manage database backup and recovery strategies, including RMAN and Data Guard.
• Develop and enforce database security policies, access controls, and auditing procedures.
• Plan and execute migration of on-premise Oracle databases to Azure Cloud, ensuring data integrity and minimal downtime.
• Provide expert-level support for Oracle 19c and later versions, including patching, upgrades, and troubleshooting.
• Leverage knowledge of Oracle 23ai features for future database enhancements and migrations (optional).
• Collaborate with development teams to optimize database design and application performance.
• Monitor database health, troubleshoot issues, and implement proactive solutions to prevent outages.
• Maintain comprehensive documentation for database configurations, procedures, and policies.
• Review and provide critical logging aspects of database focusing on DB optimization, error logging, and ability to enhance performance for DB while on prem and on cloud post migration.
