Summary: The IT Project Manager II will oversee the API Migration Project, focusing on enhancing the Access-Identity customer experience by migrating user data from an outdated Profile API to a newer version. This role requires strong communication and facilitation skills, as well as experience in managing technical projects. The position is fully remote, allowing candidates from anywhere in the US, with collaboration across various global teams. The contract duration is 6+ months, with potential for extension or hire.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work across Access, Trust and Data teams to establish the transition plan and timeline.
  • Form stakeholder communications to industry and product teams who also have work to contribute and customer impact.
  • Build and maintain working relationships with program leads and other stakeholders involved in the project.
  • Coordinate and track execution, set deadlines, assign responsibilities, manage and report on progress and risks, and escalate quickly when necessary.
  • Ensure thoroughness and validity of data being migrated.
  • Willingness to multi-task and take on similar tasks for other technical programs under the same Access domain.
  • Must be familiar with technical, developer/engineering concepts, practices, and procedures.

Title: IT Project Manager II API Migration Project

Location: 100% Remote

Duration: 6+ Months with potential extension/hire

They can be anywhere in US but must be able to work with Singapore, and possibly other Geos, Toronto, India.

Top 3 Must Have Skills:

  • 2+ years experience with technical projects, concepts and tools
  • Proven success with technical PJM
  • High communication and facilitation skills

Overview:

  • Enhance our Access-Identity customer experience by migrating user data from an outdated Profile API to a newer API.
  • There are security vulnerabilities on the V1 APIs leading to security and privacy risks and since there is no confirmed EOL for this V1 APIs, 400+ teams are using deprecated and vulnerable APIs. The Access Identity team needs to sunset the system and support for this outdated v1 API.
  • We are looking for someone with experience with the responsibilities of coordinating and completing technical projects successfully within the time allocated.
